We work with contractors who share our commitment to quality, professionalism and customer care. We are looking for experienced plumbers, drainage engineers or related tradespeople with demonstrable expertise in emergency call-outs, leak detection, pipe repairs, drainage unblocking, installations and general plumbing maintenance. You should hold relevant qualifications, typically a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in plumbing, with additional training in relevant areas such as gas safety, heating systems or drainage where applicable. Public liability insurance cover of at least £1 million is essential, and we will ask for proof before any work begins.

Above all, we value reliability and professionalism. You should be responsive, clear in communication, willing to work flexibly including unsociable hours for emergencies, and genuinely committed to the high standards of customer care that Aqua Dash is known for. What We Offer We provide regular subcontract work opportunities for qualified, reliable contractors.

The volume of work available varies with seasonal demand, but we maintain a consistent flow of both emergency and scheduled jobs throughout the year. Jobs are dispatched through our office, which handles all scheduling and customer communication. You will receive job details and customer information, allowing you to attend and complete the work efficiently without any administration burden on your end. We handle customer acquisition, booking management, invoicing and payment processing, so you can focus entirely on the technical work and delivering excellent customer service. Rates are agreed upfront and transparent, and payment is processed promptly following job completion and invoice submission. We value reliability and professionalism, and contractors who consistently deliver high-quality work and positive customer feedback will be prioritised for future work, including larger projects and emergency call-outs where rates may be higher.

We subcontract a wide range of plumbing work, including emergency plumbing response for burst pipes, major leaks, overflowing toilets and blockages, general plumbing repairs and maintenance, leak detection and pipe repairs, drainage unblocking and clearing services, toilet, tap, basin and shower repairs and replacements, bathroom and kitchen plumbing for repairs and installations, Saniflo macerator and pump installation and repair, hot water system plumbing and heating pipework, and outdoor and garden plumbing.

Work is allocated based on your expertise, location and availability. Some contractors prefer emergency call-outs; others favour scheduled work. We can discuss your preferences and working arrangements to find an arrangement that suits you.

You must be fully insured with public liability cover of at least £1 million. We will ask for proof of insurance before work begins. You are responsible for your own personal protective equipment, tools and vehicle insurance. All work must be carried out in accordance with current building regulations, health and safety legislation and industry best practice. We expect all work to be completed to a high standard. Professional communication is essential — respond promptly to enquiries, confirm appointments, provide updates if you are running late, and address any issues professionally. Customer satisfaction is central to our business, and we will discuss any negative feedback constructively.

Invoices should be submitted promptly following job completion with supporting evidence (photos, job sheet and customer confirmation). Payment is normally processed within 7–14 days of invoice receipt. You are responsible for your own tax affairs and National Insurance contributions.

If you are interested in joining us as a subcontractor, please send us your name and contact details, a brief summary of your experience, qualifications and areas of expertise, your public liability insurance certificate (current and valid), references from previous clients or businesses you have worked with (typically two recent references), and details of your availability — which days and times you are typically available, and whether you are willing to take emergency call-outs outside standard hours. Ready to Apply? Please send your information to [email protected] with the subject line "Subcontractor Enquiry" or call us on 07874 014820 to discuss your interest. Next Steps Once we receive your information, we will review your qualifications and experience. If you are a good fit, we will invite you to a brief conversation to discuss working arrangements, rates and how we operate. If both parties are happy to proceed, we will agree terms in writing and set up an induction. This includes an introduction to our dispatch system, a briefing on our standards and customer expectations, and a test job to ensure we work well together. Following your first few jobs, we will check in to ensure everything is working well and to address any questions. We monitor customer feedback and complaints carefully, and contractors who consistently deliver high-quality work and positive experiences will be prioritised for future work, including larger projects and emergency call-outs where rates may be higher. We are keen to work with contractors who can grow with us, and there is scope for increased work, better rates for regular or complex jobs, and the possibility of longer-term arrangement or preferential partnership terms.

By applying to work with us, you understand that we will hold your personal and business information securely and in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to manage your work, and you will not be added to any marketing lists. Further details are available in our Privacy Policy.

Subcontracting arrangements are on a flexible, non-exclusive basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Either party may end the arrangement with reasonable notice.

Specific terms including rates, working hours, types of work and notice periods will be agreed in writing before work begins. All work is carried out subject to our Terms and Conditions, Complaints Policy and Warranty Policy, copies of which are available on request.
